Weather and Lighthouses go hand in hand. Without lighthouses, much of what America today, wouldn’t exist without the help of light in the distance to guide a lost ship. I love lighthouses and collect them. I found a nice little site that has mini lighthouses for auction.
The footage coming in is brand new. Here are a couple of storm chasers before the eye hit the coast. Watch the end of the film. There is a tremendous wave that hits the seawall.
I captured this footage back in March of 2008. It was a winter storm coming off Lake Erie. This storm dropped a few feet of snow on Cleveland. It shut down roads and businesses.
After officially coming ashore early Tuesday morning, Ida's remnants of heavy rain could bring flooding to parts of the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic this week.
Nov. 10, 2009 The US Coast Guard plucked 2 workers from an oil rig after Ida's waves send a lift boat crashing into the structure. A fisherman is feared dead after he tried to help others on a disabled boat.
Ida's remnants have moved ashore and will slowly track towards the Mid-Atlantic States. Locations from Atlanta to Charlotte will see 3-5' of rain by Thursday morning.

The Central US is once again enjoying a warm spell for November, with high temperatures running 5-15 degrees above average. It's the opposite story for the Northeast, as high temperatures fall 10 to 15 degrees by Wednesday.
